Job Roles & Responsibilities

Job title - Learning Support Coordinator

Key Aims & Objectives

  • To work with young people between the age of 13-19 years.
  • Responsible for the delivery of programmes and activities and the accreditation process
  • Deliver AQA accredited units in basic literacy & numeracy
  • Provide learning support to Key Stage 4
  • To involve staff and volunteers in the coordination and delivery of programmes
  • To provide individual assessments of learning outcomes for accredited and non-accredited programmes

Job title - Mentor Coordinator

Key Aims & Objectives

  • To coordinate and provide mentoring programmes for young people aged 11 –19 years.
  • To assist in the referral and reintegration process by networking and working partnership with service users, school, statutory and voluntary agencies.
  • To supervise volunteers in the delivery of the programmes.
  • To work with a range of agencies to ensure that we are offering a holistic approach to supporting young people and families

Job title - Mentor

Key Aims & Objectives

  • To assisting the coordination and delivery of a range of mentoring opportunities to support young people aged 13-19 years
  • Providing one-to-one support -developing strategies with young people to overcome barriers to learning
  • To assist in the reintegration of young people through networking and working partnership with schools, statutory and voluntary agencies.
  • To assist staff and volunteers in the delivery of the mentoring programme
