The Saturday Club is a creative day and also a day for activities that will spur the imagination. This is a great opportunity to really experience creative subjects on a practical level.
It’s your business. You are in control of learning where you can access activities that you may not have explored, allowing you to be totally involved in your learning and be part of a major event.
This Saturday programme is not about playing Playstation or solitaire but to really prove to yourself that you can run this programme and take ownership of your work and be responsible.
The programme is 12 weeks and whatever creative subject(s) chosen; a performance or exhibition will be held at a venue to show your achievements to the public.
It's on Saturday from 10am till 2pm starting soon! The cost is £1.50 - that includes your refreshments.
The Duke of Edinburghs Award is a progressive scheme which allows young people to develop in confidence, self esteem, motivation and team work. There may be opportunities for the young people who attend the Saturday club to take part in the award.
