What is MEA?

MEA is a community-based initiative that provides a mentoring service to young people at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream education.


What can MEA offer?

Alternative short-term provision Voluntary opportunities
Respite - one day per week for up to six weeks Training and development
Access to outside agencies Mentoring support for young people
Parental support advice Group work
Parent Line Vocational skills
Parent Groups Educational support
BME group work Advocacy
Residentials Reintegration
Activity days Action Plans
Advice and guidance to other professionals  


Who can access this service?

The service is available to young people and parents in the Sandwell area.


How can you access MEA?

We welcome referrals from parents, schools and other statutory and voluntary organisations.
